Hello, wayward traveler.

I send many thanks to the wind and the sea that brought you to my shores and I hope for many returns, happy or any other kind. If you are wondering about the captain of this ship, wonder no more. For I am a simple soul, trying to navigate this crazy life, searching for that elusive safe haven.

Some forty years ago, I came into this world. Well, with some help from my parents. In Switzerland, of all places. Alas, cruel twist of fate saw me returning to the land of my ancestors. So, no swiss chocolate or secret bank accounts for me. Instead, I witnessed the winds of war tearing my country apart. Twenty years later, it seems that I, just as my country, am a little bit older and not much wiser. But at least we can always brag that “Game of Thrones” was filmed here. If nothing else, we are a proud nation.

One more thing you should know, I am an undercover explorer/traveler/seeker/writer’s apprentice, desperately trying to make a break for that fantasy world that awaits me. For now, I am residing in my beloved hometown Zagreb, working as an accountant (don’t let anyone tell you that it is a dull job), enjoying fabulous forty.
