Oh well, at least they’ve got something in common, but it doesn’t sound like a match made in heaven. Interesting piece.

Are there matches that are made in heaven? 🙂 Thank you, Sandra.

This was most interesting… and I can just picture it, too…
I really enjoyed this.

A case of opposites attract? But for how long before they weary of each other’s differences?

I see them as driftwood bumping to each other, not really caring where they will end up next. I thin they got weary from the beginning.

I don’t think this relationship is built to last. Fun at the moment, though!

Precisely, fun.

Great fun! She’s right about tea

I don’t know, I love both tea and coffee. Don’t know what that says about me. 🙂

I loved the way you described that first sip of coffee; so true. And the way you didn’t describe the first taste of the cigarette, which by implication was even better. But your last line nails it; that couple can’t last if she already thinks like that about her partner.

I don’t think they were ever partners….just casual something or other. Glad you liked it, thank you!

Drinking two different hot drinks is not necessarily a sign of great difference. They had good chemistry in bed, apparently.

Who knows what lies in front of them, maybe they’ll both switch to smoothies. 😉 Tnx for stopping by.

I guess a separation is brewing up, mentally she seems to be already on her way out.

I think he would look the other way, especially with Starbucks. 😀 Tnx, Keith!

Dear Loré,
Sculpted nakedness says a lot. The relationship might not last but it will be a fun ride for a while. Nicely done.

‘Please don’t speak’ – ouch! I feel a bit sorry for him. Loved the description of the coffee here. A very interesting take on the prompt.

Certainly good enough for now. The relationship with the coffee and the cigarette is on firmer footing. Still, fun is fun, destiny will have to wait. Great take on the prompt

I think the tea person / coffee person divide is as real as the cat person / dog person but not as well documented. Glad to see these two are finding some pleasure by crossing the tracks!

Really like this, love a sexy tale, but I have no idea what a tabacchiera is, please enlighten me!

It is a cigarette-box. Happy you liked it.

Well written – if your companion glares at your tabacchiera then the relationship is already going up in smoke.

Sort of friends with benefits, more like acquaintances with benefits actually.
