I remember the clouds. Big white cotton balls, rolling across the sky, casting shadows on the landscape of my life.
Waiting for you under those clouds, I sought comfort from the scorching heat that left my palms wet and my throat dry.
But you never showed up…and I kept waiting. On the bus stop without a schedule. On the road that led to nowhere.
Time slipped by and my hair turned another shadeof grey. I must have fallen asleep, because when I woke up, I saw you leaving.
