Where did the time go…again? I feel as if I blinked and the 4th Monday jumped at me. This month was such a fun, it just goes to show how important picking the right image is. I had fun with every edit, which is not something that I can brag about often.
I went “cinematic” with all four versions. Thor, Hulk, Film Noir…and this last one is my King Kong version.
I played a lot in FotoSketcher, trying different settings in vintage photo option. Once I was done there, I imported the image in Pixlr and played around with contrast and brightness. There, I stumbled upon the stickers and found this little plane, which gave me the idea of King Kong. So, I tweaked it a little bit more, added some texture and the frame.

I know weeks 1&2 are favorites, but I must confess I like all the versions. Hope you take your time and vote.

At first I confess I wasn’t that fond of this week, until I read your eexplanation of how you just came across that sticker of the plane. That should be a lesson to us all, if not to me specifically. Keep your eyes- and your mind- open!
Oh, you are too kind, Emilio! This month showed me how it can be interesting when you choose a good image. I loved this image from the second I took it and it just kept giving. Combined with my exploding imagination, it was given I would end up with some crazy edits. I am overjoyed by the response. 🙂
Hi Loré – I agree the choice of picture to work on makes all the difference to your enjoyment and interest… It’s a toss up between Week 1 & 2 for me – In the end I went for week 1 – electrifying!

I’ve loved all of your cinematic versions. I really like the names you picked for them too. This week’s King Kong version is my favorite. The sticker of the plane makes the whole edit!! Are the apps you mentioned for computers or iPads? Great job this month!
Both FotoSketcher and Pixlr are free editing programs I use on my computer. I am so glad you liked the King Kong version, I thought maybe I was pushing it too far. 🙂
