Time for another entry in Friday Fictioneers challenge, courtesy of Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. If you want to give it a try, check the info on her blog. 100 words more or less, inspired by a photo, here we go….

They never heard me coming. Tucked away safely in the remote parts of the woods, little devils thought they were safe. But I could hear their rattling for miles.
I reckon I’ll get more money, now that I have a complete set. Monsieur D’Arque will piss himself when he sees Lumière, Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts and Babette in my tinny cage.
They are staring at me, frightened little buggers.
What, you thought I was dead? Well, surprise, surprise…
…No one’s slick as Gaston No one’s quick as Gaston No one’s neck’s as incredibly thick as Gaston’s…
Oh, my hair is a mess!
Why this happened, I have no idea. I saw the prompt and this came to mind.
Ha. very cleverly weaved.. I think we all love when the beast will win, but right now it looks a lttle dark…had to say i had forgotten the details of Beauty and the Beast.
Nice take on the prompt. I thought that name sounded familiar and I was right. How I wish my kids were younger again, it will give me an excuse to watch my..er..i mean their favourite videos again 😉
That was different. I don’t know the story (cartoon) but it doesn’t matter. Something nasty is going to happen, but then, someone will get his comeuppance in true folk tale fashion. 🙂
Same here, I just can’t make it to all the blogs and wonderful stories lately. It is frustrating.
Thank you for making time, I am glad it brought you back some nice memories.
Dear Loré,
At the very least Gaston has a full set of dancing dishes. 😉
Shalom,
Rochelle

Thank you. Although, I don’t know what Gaston’s reaction would be to your snickering. 🙂

I’d be careful around Gaston, if I were you. 🙂 Different take on the prompt.

Bravo! But I do think he should keep an eye out for Mme. de LaGrande Bouche. Wardrobe to the rescue!

Fun. Didn’t know the Disney story. Good take. Now I’m educated. They seem to have cabin fever in the clip.

Ah, I don’t need an excuse. I like to snuggle in my favorite armchair and enjoy it from time to time.

Dear Lore,
Recon might be spelled differently, I reckon. Hard telling, not knowing. Great story.

And no franchise deserves a well-written spoof as much as Disney. Good stuff this week, Lore.

Oh poor Mrs. Potts! To be reduced to such a kitchen. You never know, maybe Gaston’s digs won’t be so primitive. She could be sold up!
