Time for another entry in Friday Fictioneers challenge, courtesy of Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. If you want to give it a try, check the info on her blog. 100 words more or less, inspired by a photo, here we go….

They never heard me coming. Tucked away safely in the remote parts of the woods, little devils thought they were safe. But I could hear their rattling for miles.

I reckon I’ll get more money, now that I have a complete set. Monsieur D’Arque will piss himself when he sees Lumière, Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts and Babette in my tinny cage.

They are staring at me, frightened little buggers.

What, you thought I was dead? Well, surprise, surprise…

…No one’s slick as Gaston
No one’s quick as Gaston
No one’s neck’s as incredibly thick as Gaston’s…

Oh, my hair is a mess!

Why this happened, I have no idea. I saw the prompt and this came to mind.

  1. Nice take on the prompt. I thought that name sounded familiar and I was right. How I wish my kids were younger again, it will give me an excuse to watch my..er..i mean their favourite videos again 😉
