Leanne Cole hosts Monochrome Madness Challenge where every week almost 50 participants share monochrome images. If you want to see other entries or even want to join with your own, be sure to visit her blog Leanne Cole PHOTOGRAPHY.
Next week will be a full year since Leanne started Monochrome Madness Challenge. 52 weeks full of beautiful images, generously showcased on her blog. I joined later, but I think there are some 40 images in my MMC collection. Next week I’ll put them all together on my blog and I’ll share my favorite on Leanne’s blog, along with the favorite images of many other participants. I think it will be a fun week, to remind ourselves how beautiful monochrome world can be.
Lovely entry Lore, There is a subtle softness building from the abstract background towards the viewer…getting more detailed the closer the flower gets, it is exciting. Those tiny lit details of the stems are so nice!
I love this image – its so soft and delicate. I can’t wait to see your collection of MMC images. I’ve only recently started experimenting with B&W but I’ve quickly fallen in love with it. 🙂
Thank you, I hope you’ll like seeing them all in one post. It will be interesting for me, too. If you just started b&w, this challenge is really perfect for that. It pushes you to explore more and other participants offer so much inspiration. Thank you!

Thank you, Carrie. I was very captivated by this image and wanted to bring out the softness and fragility. I am very happy you liked it.
