Five Stories Through Five Days – Little Miss Sunshine (Day V)
This is my last day of posting images for the Five Days of Black&White. I would like to thank once more my dear fellow bloggers Robyn from Captivate Me and Ben from Aperature64 for choosing me. If you have time, be so kind and visit both blogs, full of beautiful images and very helpful information about photography.
Little Miss Sunshine
That’s how my mom used to call me…I was her sunshine, her angel, her love. Life wasn’t very kind to me, but one thing I can say with certainty: I never doubted my parents love and they never hesitated to show it on every step. It gave me wings, security, confidence, courage. Their love transformed into building blocks on which my entire life is built on.
I took this last night, snapped the image of the image. Originally, my portrait was taken 35 years ago, but sadly I have no information about the date and the place. My friends say I haven’t changed much and I hope it is true. I hope she is still somewhere inside…this sweet, little girl with no worries in the world. The older I get, the more I want her to come forward and tell me that everything is going to be ok.
Today I nominate Sarina from Sari’s Corner and I am adding a twist to this challenge. Post five days in a row b&w or color images through which you will tell a story. It doesn’t matter what the story is, just that there is a story behind every image. It can be one sentence, a dribble from your life, a fiction, a poem, long, short, interconnected through all five days or every day a new story.
This is NOT a ‘have to’ and you can choose not to play along if you’d rather not or do it later if it doesn’t fit your current schedule.. it’s completely up to you.
If you choose to play along – you post a photo for five consecutive days from when you start and each day nominate another photographer to enter the challenge. Or you can add your own twist and let this challenge grow.
So, here we are. My “Five Stories Through Five Days” comes to an end. I do hope you enjoyed it and didn’t find it too pretentious or tiresome. Maybe it will inspire you to search for things you love and long for. Not so you could share it with the world, but to remind yourself there is beauty in your life.

Uhhh, I am honored… I have to see, if, how and when I will do it, normally I am not a big fan of nominating people. Add a story, that is gonna be a challenge indeed 😉
Firstly, you don’t have to do it. If you do it, you don’t have to add a story and I don’t even think you need to nominate people. Do it in your own way and time, or don’t do it at all. It is optional and I will be ok with any kind of decision. 🙂

Thank you, Cybele. It is funny to look at our old pictures, wondering how much of that little person is still tucked somewhere inside.
