73AQUA125 observed the object in front of it for a few moments.
“What is this?” blue letters flashed on android’s display.
Scanning the room, 71TREE273 displayed:
“A switch.”
“For what?”
“Emotions.”
“What are emotions?”
“It is believed emotions were uncontrollable experiences characterized primarily by unpredictable physiological expressions, biological reactions, and unstable mental states, usually displayed by humans.”
“What are humans?”
“An extinct species. They occupied this planet for a short period of time. Our firsts were their fault. Created in their image.”
Series of human images flashed on 73AQUA125’s display.
“How did they disappear?”
“They turned off the switch.”

  1. I love your android voices. Wonderful. And I really like your closing idea of humans turning off the switch – it has so many possible interpretations. I did a robot theme myself with this prompt.
