You think you can put me in a little box, your own little prison, specially designed for me? But foolishly, you forgot to take away my dreams, you forgot to crash my imagination.
I’ve been dreaming all my life. Both when I am asleep and when I am wide awake. I love my dreams, they take me to far away places, on a rollercoaster of adventures. They make me want more from life. They make me bold.
My imagination led me away this week to another world where instead of trees there are giant violets growing on a sandy beaches lighted only by the moonlight.
This image is the result of combined editing options of PicMonkey and PixlrExpress. First step was to crop the image, making it more tight and focused on clover leaves. Flipping does not work on this image, I try that with every image. I tried many different things in PicMonkey, but nothing was happening.
So, I uploaded the image to PixlrExpress and tried to achieve something there. I remembered an interesting overlay “Color correction” and there I selected “Ndgrad”, which gave me that soft dark background. Then it was time for some color adjustment. I played with hue and saturation until I got this particular shade of violet. In my opinion, it goes well with the slightly grayish background.
Finally, I went back to PicMonkey and once more used the trick FocalSoften, blurring most of the image and making just the small part a focal point.

As for me…I am off to a new adventure, chasing wind and stars. And you…don’t forget to dream.
Because, unknown is impossible until we learn enough to make it probable. And dreams make probable become possible.
Uhhh I love violett! And these really look like they are standing on a beach in the moonlight! Great week!

Love the purple “flowers” and the slightly unreal soil colour. This could be on an alien world.

Surreal picture, looks to me like butterfly which are born from plants. Fantastic idea, although not my usually cup of tea it has drawn me in.

I can see butterflies now, guess we need to step away to see something else. Your comment from the last week about not being sure where I can go next, really pushed me to think what to do this week. Thank you for your kind words, Ben.

I couldn’t place this picture until I saw last week’s one! 😀 Great edit; I love the softening and the darkening of the background too.

Oooo I love the purple! I didn’t even realize they were clovers until I saw last weeks. Great job transforming this into another world. And a lovely world at that. I like the idea that some people saw butterflies. 🙂

Great edit and colour and love the idea of ‘butterflies’ as some have said. I would have liked a bit more room on the left side in the crop to give the in focus ‘butterflies a bit of breathing space. My eye has to hunt for them. Hope you don’t mind me commenting, just a thought of mine 🙂
