Leanne Cole, a wonderful photographer from Australia, is hosting a weekly challenge on her blog Leanne Cole PHOTOGRAPHY called Monochrome Madness Challenge, where she features some b&w photos from other great photographers and even amateurs like me.
In this week’s entry I remembered my trip to Milan this spring. For the first time I took some street photos and I must admit I enjoyed it a lot. Street photography is full of motion and energy and it is not so easy to capture the spirit of the moment. Sometimes you manage to recapture that in post-processing. I believe I did that with this image.
I liked this image so much, I decided to play with it some more. Few weeks ago I stumbled upon a free program called FotoSketcher that allows you to convert images into paintings lookalikes.

This was fun experience and I hope you’ll like it at least half as much as I do.
