Leanne Cole, a wonderful photographer from Australia, is hosting a weekly challenge on her blog Leanne Cole PHOTOGRAPHY called Monochrome Madness Challenge, where she features monochrome photos from other photographers.
I took a photo of this wild lilly in my garden last summer. It looks lovely in all the vibrating colors, capturing a perfect summer day. But I find something magical in this b&w version, like I am looking at the part of a secret garden full of mystical creatures not willing to show themselves to an unsuspecting observer.
